About the event
Welcome to my first book launch in Ireland for 'A Magdalene Rose'. This is a true story about four remarkable people, scarred by Ireland's Magdalene system. My book asks the question: 'Can our secrets and promises ever be reconciled?' My book endeavours to provide the answers and my book launch begins in the very town where this saga began. This journey will take you across County Galway and to Dublin. The event is being held at The Courthouse and it is the location of where on of those from the book were tried by the Irish State. We have come full circle; will justice be delivered? This is the beginning of their journey home; join me for readings and Q&As. It would be great to see you and to welcome home two of your own!
