What have I done, how I have done it, and what has been achieved?
Before I became a Solicitor, as a Police Officer, I had attended many protest marches, meetings and I spoke with many people about their lives and what they were protesting about. But even before that, growing up in an Irish household, I listened to and took part in many a debate about politics. When I became a Solicitor, I began to realise the power of the law, activism and campaigning and how it could help to contribute to real change in peoples lives; here are just a few examples of what I have been involved in over many years, some of which continues to this day:

-
Advocacy & Stakeholder engagements via the EU on the development of the new Package Travel Directive
-
Advocacy & Stakeholder engagements via the EU on Air Passenger Rights
-
Advocacy & Stakeholder engagements via the EU on Ships Safety
-
Active in advocacy & stakeholder commitment at UK, EU, Australia & USA level, on Cabin Air Quality
-
Support and Advocacy on Carbon Monoxide both in domestic and holiday scenarios
-
Support & Advocacy on the general issue of toxins both domestically and within Travel
-
Support and Advocacy on Risk Destinations
-
Support and Advocacy on Crimes in Holidays
-
Activism, support and activism in the Republic of Ireland on Magdalene issues
Since 2004, I have created and submitted nearly 80 reports to governments and agencies around the world. Here are some examples of my Activism work
