A: Frank Brehany is an author, investigator and public advocate, with over 27 years of experience in legal activism and consumer rights. A retired police officer and solicitor (lawyer), his extensive background spans human rights, social justice, systemic failures and demonstrably seeking consensus where possible, within complex issues. Frank has worked internationally since 2012 on representing the Consumer position on aircraft cabin air quality, producing his first book, Gaspers. He is also recognised as an Indirect Survivor (following the long line of recognition for so many, stemming from ECHR court decisions). Frank has spent 14 years conducting meticulous archival research into Irish institutional legacies, culminating in his acclaimed true-story investigative story about 4 remarkable people, through A Magdalene Rose. He has long-standing media experience and is active within multiple social media forums.

Frank has published two books to date: Gaspers - Clean Air for Passengers?, which examines contaminated air within aircraft cabins, the history of cabin air quality, and what you can do if you encounter a fume event; and A Magdalene Rose, a true Irish story centred on identity, love, home and survival. You can explore both books directly on this website.

Q: This is a good question! I believe that after operating a National Consumers Organisation for 14 years, provides me with the best insight into consumer expectations and their rights. I offer that insight along with the care and attention I provide to the books that I produce and have published. Where I use external distributors, I only use the distributors who have a global reputation and who provide a good quality product for consumer orders. In a competing world, where authors, publishers and bookshops vie for attention within a bulk market, I believe that my own personal brand, along with the quality of my books, offer a direct and important connection between me, the author, and you, the reader. I value that connection immensely. Each order is reviewed by me. When I am not travelling, each order is processed by me - when I am travelling, those responsible for processing orders have been trained by me on ensuring the best quality and attention is given to each of my customers. You can be confident that if something goes wrong, I will work hard to find a solution - it is after all about trust and providing the best product and experience to consumers. My first book, Gaspers (eBook) on aircraft cabin air quality, can be obtained directly from me exclusively on this website. The definitive hardback edition of A Magdalene Rose can be secured directly from me, the author, or, via global distributors. For readers who prefer paperback or digital formats, the book is available worldwide through Amazon Kindle and all major international booksellers via IngramSpark's distribution network. All direct orders with me are securely processed and shipped with care from South Wales, UK, ensuring your investigative history edition arrives safely.
